holy smokes ! I just realize the whole week behind in blogging… Very sorry about the delay.…

Trying to recall what I was doing last Monday. it was the beginning of a really nice visit with my mom in Minneapolis. I began with a quick run around the parks in Nicollet Island

We spent that first whole day scanning pictures from more than 20 photo albums.… I think it was far more than 20 albums now that I think of it. I had brought our high speed photo scanner which really makes it a pretty easy job.By the end of that first day I had scanned over 5000 pictures. And believe it or not that was just the beginning.… It was wonderful getting to see all those old pictures… Just putting a few in here disorder show you the kind of things I was looking at: )I apologize that some are rotated.. )

woke up early and packed for my trip. even with a latest flight of 1 pm it was all I could do to get packed in time .

flight over to mold was easy and nice . I had a ling layover in IAD so I spent it trying out all of the international airline longe’s . yummy food !

ingot to my moms around 8:30 . she’s made me an apple cake for my bit ! it’s my favorite cake in the world !

after cake we started in on the task of the xia or . i’d brought our photo scanner and started in on the huge pile of old photos my mom had collected . I only know after doing it that there were more than 5000 (!) pictures there

I was planning on being in Minneapolis today but when my flight. ( and about. 5000 others I hear)got canceled I found my self with a completely un programmed day in my hands . I spent some of it cleaning the house to get it ready for Diane’s return…. some snowshoeing.. such great snow !

The rest of the day I worked in my shop on some beta stuff..

What a pleasure !

That evening I did a short visit tim and jenn since I hadnt seen them for a while
