Saturday night – Back to Gerbrunn

DIane. Nova and I woked up early and headed back to Gerbrunn. the drive back on a weekend was much easier than the ride down.. hardly any trucks

We got home just before noon.. .. first order of biz was to do soem shopping while we had hthe car (Gabes temporary german license has expired.. he has to take a driving test to get his permenant licence.s.

first stop was the pet supply place to get food for Nova.

then a major shopping trip to Endeka

e enjoyed reading the labels.. I trandlated soem of the goofy stuff for diane and gabe..

the ceral names were really goofy. which reminded me .. for soem reason.. abot thei ss Cinnnamon crunch ceral box I saw way bakc in 2018. not sure how I remembered it. .but I dug up the phono..

If you look one way, the little toast thing has a small bloack curved smile.. look again and the curve is his nose , the brown stripes are his downturned mouth and he’s looking down in horror

we got home and Gabe took us on a long dicovery hike on footpaths in Gerbrunn and Hubland.

hubland was fascinating. it was an old Nazi airbase.. then a us army nase.. .

which was liend wiht soem of the best outdoor toys and exercise gear i’ve ever seen !

there were histroy plackards all over.. like wehn one of the zepplins visited here in the 1940s

or when the mericn solderis finally took the city

the playgroudns were really amaizng. check out this giant cralwl through snil !

or these human powered water features.

the pattern that this thing made was amazing. it was two high pressure streams of water colliding. check out what they looked like in slow mothin here. you could actually see these things form in the air !

fron there wgabe showed us a cool set of walkwing opaths down to Würzburg.. you can actually walk or ride a bike without ever beig on a street with cars..

we met up with my freind.. and now gabes friend Nabil. I cant beleive I didnt get a picture of him, wwe had a nice dinner at a greek place.. the first place gabe and I ate dinner at when he was moving here !
