Today was the first full day of our conference.. I got up early and took a. Run.. its pretty urban here.. but I found a railway track to follow.
I finished listening to “bomber mafia ” by malcom gladwell.. a good listen
The day at the conference was fun and interesting.. nothing I can share here though for business reasons. 🙂 …
Afterwards we headed to an amazing brewpub (again) called Monday night. it was in a beautiful wreck of a building.. .. got to practice my nascent corn hole skills !

Diane and I woke up early for me to airport for my flight down to Nashville this is the first business trip iPad for my gig at Beta
Pretty uneventful trip. I went straight to the conference venue when I got there to set up our demos. Everything got here more or less OK… One small repair. i was happy to see everything working !
I was worried it was going to be just meat.. Put amazingly it was a Put amazingly it was a pop-up one night special from an israeli restaurant in Boston. It was a single orice and they kept brining us awesome middle eastern food. So great !
from there we went to a very cool outdoors night market.. great art and a bar with rope swings
it was very fun getting to know some of the folks from our communications team better. Such gret folks.
It was a rainy day today which braught some from the early heat. It was a good day to lay low. .. my main venture out was to go over to chris and kims to work on the design for the fire effects for the burning man art car
it was great catching up with Chris. He showed me the pair of mourning doves and their baby.
. They’ve already had crows poach a few of the young so every morning at 5:30 to scare away crows. They use a manikan that they deress up and move around the yard as a scare crow..
Today was a very relaxing day .. we spend it mostly doing yrd wark. The big project was to assemble, place and fill 3 new raised beds tht will be used for annuals and vegatables. Putting them in involved moving the trampoline and hailing a couple of tons of dirt and compost..fun and relaxin.. w hich provided instant gratification
As we worked, we had a fire away the black wise on this very hot day. The fire contained wooden boxes that had help both Chai and Satori’s ashes. if felt like another small goodbye for me .. in a good way.

Mid day we met up with our friends George and jane and their dog and granddog. We did a beutiful hike of philo ridge. Really a small hill and beautiful forest. Very great catching up with them
